We have been incredibly lucky! Everyone of our Home Exchanges has been so good ... this one is a hit with the kids!
For Dave and I, one of the nicest parts of our stay was having a drink with Marie-Christine and Gerald, the parents of our home-exchangers, who happen dot have a house nearby where they spend part of the year when not at home in Paris. They both stayed in our Albany home last December.
There are toys!
Lots of toys!
Elodie built this house a few years ago while still living in Australia (they are now living in Madrid but will re
turn to France) and it is incredible in that it fits so perfectly into the old coastal village and yet is it new and gorgeous!
We are a short walk to the beach and village. Mum & Dad are staying with us and Karen and Geoff are also here in Pleneuf-Val-Andre, so we have lots of company for a week before we head off towards Switzerland in search of snow!
Brittany is “charming”... little villages hugging the coastline that has interesting bays and incredible tides! There are spots along the coast that remind us of our own rugged cliffs, but then we are quickly brought back to
reality when we spot a farmhouse is true French style, and the colourful heather!

Off to the beach...
