St Oswald, Dolomites, Italy (17th Sept)

Dave and I were married in St Oswald’s Church, Tenterden and Isobel was christened there – not long before the fires seriously threatened the church (and burnt down the hall next door).

But this St Oswald in The Dolomites of Italy couldn’t be more extreme to ours!

From the exterior, you’d have assumed it was in ruins but the interior paints a completely different story. This St Oswald was built in the 1200’s and is surrounded by snow-capped mountains. Its also orthodox Catholic.

I fell in love with it as can be told by the number of photos I took of it.
